The environment is at the heart of everything we do. We want to share our knowledge and inspire other organisations to consider the planet in their approach to making work.

“Few can compete with the model of sustainability offered by Kilter…”

New Statesman

Our Green Ethos

The impending climate emergency was one of the reasons we started Kilter. Since we formed the company in 2006, our work has been underpinned by our desire to make our interaction with the planet sustainable.

We feel justifiably proud of our pioneering low-carbon approach to creating work. We have led from the front with innovative and resourceful ways to create and share what we do without hurting the planet. But that’s not enough.

Now, we want to share our green expertise with other organisations and makers. So, whether you’re an established company, a grass-roots group or an individual artist, we’re inviting you to join us on a walk to find out how you can make your work more environmentally friendly.

“You really made us think about the company in a way we haven't done for a while and revisit what is important to us. Thank you!”

- Ann Stiddard & Alison Comley, Co-Artistic Directors, Theatre West

Green Consultancy

We want to share our knowledge and expertise with YOU!

We’ll take you on a walk through the landscape and get to know you and your work. By the end of the walk, you’ll have some ideas for how you can make small changes to create a big green impact - we promote simple, actionable, enjoyable things that can make an appreciable difference without changing the core of what you do.

You don’t have to be a theatre company or performance maker: we have experience collaborating with all sorts of different businesses, groups and individuals… all that matters is the desire to make a real difference and to make sustainable, environmentally friendly work!

We’re offering our green consultancy walks for FREE to charities and grassroots organisations, because we believe that you can’t put a price on saving the planet.

If you’d like to arrange a green consultancy walk with us then please get in touch - let us know if you have any accessibility requirements and we can take these into account when we plan the route, or if you’re unable to join us in person then we’ll be happy to chat with you on a video call instead.
