Grandpa has reached 100! You are cordially invited to raise a glass to toast his first century... and launch his next.

It's 2079. Cordelia loves Grandpa and Grandpa loves life. BucketList.vr can make it work for everyone.

Virtual Reality experience architects, BucketList.vr, are pleased to welcome you all - Grandpa's friends & family - with wine, nibbles, and discount subscription packages.

VR100 is a short pilot performance piece to test-drive ideas and provoke an ethics conversation. By attending this event, you will be contributing to cutting-edge research about the future uses and implications of immersive technology, and the impact it might have on our lives in the near (and not so near) future.

Price: Free!
Location:
The Lansdown, Bath
Duration:
90 mins
Ages: All welcome

--

After the performance, there will be a short Q&A session exploring the potential ethical implications of virtual reality, and what this technology might mean for you, your family, wider society and future generations. We are keen to learn more about what you think.

VR100 is delivered in collaboration with researchers at the University of Bristol, and Bristol secondary school students.

This event has now ended. Find out more about our work in Responsible Research.
