October Casts a Spell
First it was January's Wassail, then April threw an egg...
Join October at Bath City Farm this autumn to celebrate the changing seasons. Expect wild chants, curious spells and a fistful of apple skins flailing through the air!
Gather in the comfort and safety of the farm's open-sided roundhouse, wrap your hands around a steaming hot chocolate and prepare to be surrounded by wild beasts of the night lurking in the undergrowth!
Why not give your Halloween costume a dress rehearsal, and bring your best conker to do battle!
Join us for:

Family-friendly spooky stories, riddles & spells.
Actors in silly costumes!
Wild animal spotting - Bats! Goats! Heffalumps!
...and for the brave: sunset watching and howling at the moon!

This event would normally cost £10+ per ticket, but we are keen to make our seasonable celebrations as accessible as possible, so we have a Pay What You Can ticket structure. If you are able to afford more, please consider choosing a higher priced ticket - this will help us to continue our nature-focussed family events in the future.

Under 2s go free and don't need a ticket!
Please ensure that you buy a ticket for everyone in your party, except for children under 2.

We regret that the performance site is not wheelchair accessible. There is step-free access to the main buildings and toilets. Disabled parking spaces are available to Blue Badge holders, to the side of the main building. There is a disabled drop-off point in front of the main building. For further information, please contact Bath City Farm directly.

This event will take place outdoors, so dress for the weather and wear sensible shoes. Bring a conker for the conker competition, or use one of ours! If you’d like hot chocolate then please bring a reusable cup.

There are toilets on site. Please feel free to bring your own refreshments! Free hot chocolate will be on offer, while stocks last (please bring your own reusable cup)
