Walkabout Characters / Installations

Kilter is always happy to devise new installations & characters to suit your festivals & fun days! Whether it’s a big celebration or an educational interruption we’ve already got the bare bones on stand-by! It’s just a question of talking it though with you.

Here are a couple of ideas….

1. The Zero Knowledge Traders.  Two scavenger salesman washed up from an unfixed point in the distant future. This colourful duo are looking to capture & store your useful knowledge for the future. They carry with them bottles & jars full of donated wisdom, harvested as they tour.
2. The Darkling Society. A spin-off from our feature-length show in 2016. A pair of slightly dotty night-time enthusiasts on a recruitment drive to get young people to sign up to some of the brilliant things you can do late at night. Moss, moths, stars, bats, badgers…. Everyone who engages gets tribal face-paint & a membership badge!
3. The Last Post. A spin off from our touring production 2012-16. Great Aunt Sofya & Mrs Penny Black set up a letter-writing bureau & initiate enthusiasts into their pen-pal agency. The agency has 750+ members that we have collected whilst touring so everyone who engages will find someone to write to who has similar hobbies and interests.
