Unspoken

It’s the hardest writing challenge of all: exploring what every nerve in your body is telling you that you shouldn’t; sounding out the no-go area in which you’ve never really been to the bottom; the taboo that’ll almost certainly upset someone, perhaps everyone; the unspoken; the unspeakable.

This workshop is designed for writers of all ages and all abilities & the unspoken topic is defined entirely by the participants.  Kilter’s experienced workshop facilitators will run a series of fun and enlightening games & exercises which will result in scripted monologues & short scenes for the stage.

All the resulting material will be shared in the group and, if participants are willing, Kilter will then endeavor to perform your Unspoken Text live onstage, as prominently as possible! (For Unspoken‘s sister project, Unsung, this has meant choirs singing your words at the Holburne Museum, The Theatre Royal & the Opening Night of the Bath Music Festival!) We’ll take to the streets if necessary!
