Letter Writing Emporium

A site-based workshop in our stunning, lovingly converted luton lorry – crammed to the rafters with letter writing accoutrements and undeliverable mail.
The Mobile Letter Writing Emporium has travelled far and has many tales to tell. Crammed full of letters, things to write letters with, paper to write letters on and a ping pong set. Vintage typewriters; quills & ink-pots; perhaps a long anticipated love letter with half your name on it.
Great Aunt Sofya welcomes visitors for a glass of sherry & a reminisce about the dying art and etiquette of letter-writing. Meanwhile her good friend, Mrs (Penny) Black, sets up new members with a correspondent from the real life, working Friends for Pens PenPal Exchange Scheme!
Letter Writing Tuition runs on an ad hoc, drop in basis or bespoke sessions can be arranged. Everyone can write and send a unique hand written letter with our bespoke stationery and our functioning on-board post-box!
“…inventive, funny, visually engaging, well-constructed, intimate, quirky yet accessible for all. Full of surprises and surprising characters. Unusual but not alienating. Sophisticated but not impenetrable.” Kate Cross, the egg childrens’ theatre, Bath.
The Mobile Sorting Office can be booked for anywhere that a Luton van will fit!
