Quantum

An arts-science collaboration exploring the world of quantum.

In collaboration with the University of Bristol, we are learning how cutting edge quantum science is moving from the theoretical to the real, and is set to change the world!

Working with the people at the forefront of this science, we are unlocking ethical conversations about the future of quantum, and finding new ways to communicate its importance to the world.

The project will culminate in a series of participatory performances, exploring the world of quantum, and empowering public debate.

In the meantime, follow our journey over at our blog Welcome to Tomorrow!

Project

Quantum is part of a year-long collaboration with researchers from the QET (Quantum Engineering Technologies) Labs at the University of Bristol, supported by the Public Engagement team, in partnership with We The Curious and a number of Bristol schools.

Dr Edmund Harbord is a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, based in the QET Labs.

Quantum is a Knowledge Transfer Secondment funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the University of Bristol.

Dates

Performances will be programmed in 2019.
