A four-year programme of seasonal celebrations and wild & free workshops!

As part of the Bathscape project, we are delivering a programme of outdoor events in the beautiful Bath landscape over the next five years. Designed to reconnect the people of Bath with their surroundings, the events are all about getting out in nature: walking, talking, planting, growing, creating, listening, responding… remembering how lucky we are and doing something about it!

Participant reactions

“It was really interactive and we loved the letters, the music and the readings. We had a lovely evening.” (A Midsummer Sunset: Campfire & Gentle Revelry)

“Delightful setting with relaxed mood and good pace from participatory to personal. Leaving inspired! Thank you.” (Wild & Free Midsummer Musing)

“That was so lovely, you are so welcoming and friendly. I was so nervous coming here. I liked how there was no pressure to share with the group so just wanted to say thanks.” (Wild & Free Midsummer Musing)

“Really lovely evening. Great way to spend midsummer’s day. Lovely to use the experience of being in nature as a stimulus for creative writing. Inspiring thoughts and ideas about this special time.” (Wild & Free Midsummer Musing)

“I became the leaf and wrote my first creative piece of writing in years. I am not a natural writer so this was not my comfort zone. But this was brilliant. It really was.” (Wild & Free Midsummer Musing)

“We had a wonderful afternoon, connecting with the real stuff of life: nature’s glut & harvest & the real fun to be had in teaming up to make the most of it. All kids involved (little & big) were beaming ear to ear throughout.” (Harvest!)
