We can’t do it without you

Whether it’s taking part in the research we do that helps us create our shows or through volunteering: people are at the centre of what we do at Kilter.

Kilter is a not-for-profit organisation and we’re committed to building a diverse and strong community that contributes to making the world we live in more sustainable, fun and healthy. The way we make theatre means that we rely heavily on the energy and good will of others.

Building our stories

Every piece of work we create is inspired by the place in which it is set and the people that use that place. A huge part of our process is getting to know local people and feeding their thoughts, stories, dreams and feelings into our productions. Keep and eye on our news page, or sign up to our newsletter and mailing list, so we can keep you up to date with when we’re looking for local information.

Volunteer

We’re always on the lookout for volunteers to get involved. Past volunteers have been our box office, ushers, prop-makers, cake bakers and even performers in our shows. If you’d like to get involved, please contact Caroline – caroline@kiltertheatre.org

Friends of Kilter

Making our particular brand of unique, essential and low carbon theatre can be an expensive business. In the current economic climate, and with savage cuts to the arts, it’s never been harder to be a small company. It’s often possible to find funds to perform, but who wants to pay for all the hours of research, administration and core costs that are needed to keep a company afloat?

You could help us by becoming
a Friend of Kilter.

Just £50 a year will help us survive and continue creating new shows. In return for your generous donation you will receive two free tickets to each new production and your name will be credited in our programmes if you wish.

Any donations are welcome – financial or otherwise – and we are more than happy to discuss sponsorships arrangements if our ethical beliefs are aligned.
