Jonathon Porritt becomes Kilter patron
We're absolutely thrilled to announce that Sir Jonathon Porritt has agreed to become the first patron of Kilter.
Jonathon first made his name as a prominent member of the Green Party before founding the sustainable development charity Forum for the Future in 1996 with Sara Parkin and Paul Ekins. For the last 9 years he has been chair of the Sustainable Developme
nt Commission.
“Theatre has a vital role to play in engaging people on the most pressing issues of our time – and what could be more pressing than climate change and the need to find more sustainable ways of living? Kilter has an extraordinary ability to make complex and controversial issues much more accessible whilst keeping people highly entertained – without ever preaching at them!” Read more about Jonathon's thoughts about art and environment here.

The Little Month - a new commission for Kilter
The egg, Theatre Royal Bath, commissioned Kilter to produce The Little Month - a theatrical treasure trail around Bath - as part of it's Family Festival of Theatre in February 2009. Designed for children, the show celebrated the month of February through traditions, Bath heritage and a large dose of Kilter theatrical magic! There was something to do on every day of the little month - whether it was a challenge, task, puzzle or play, Kilter warmed up the chilly winter days of February with some imaginative adventuring.
