As a follow up to Invincible, our immersive synthetic biology production, we are co-hosting…
A Frank & Philosophical Conversation about Synthetic Biology | How far should we go to better ourselves?
This event will be hosted by Kilter and BrisSynBio, the University of Bristol’s synthetic biology research centre. It will include theatre makers, actors, leading scientists, futurologists, ethicists and artists.
We will be considering what the role of synthetic biology is in the future. Everybody has a stake in its development and this is a chance for you to claim that stake. Turn up, talk to a researcher and shape the way this dramatic game-changer is used to inform and influence society in the future.
We will also be attempting to answer some of the many scientific questions and moral dilemmas that our audiences shared with us at Invincible!
The event will include a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes and visit the labs where synthetic biology is developed, in the University of Bristol’s Life Sciences Building.
