An atmospheric evening of outdoor storytelling at The National Trust’s Prior Park Landscape Garden in Bath.

 

Following The Illuminating Times of The Darkling Society in 2016, we are returning to Prior Park with a twist on our regular collaboration with local writing company, A Word In Your Ear.

 

Set off through the meadows and glades to discover stories hidden amongst the trees, around the secret summer house and in the shadows of the stunning mansion house. Inspired by the landscape and environment of this famous landmark, Foraged Fictions imagines the untold stories lost to history: the friendships dropped into the cracks in the path; the ghosts whispering like a breeze in the leaves; all the possible futures the house may hold…

Practical Information

Suitable for adults, and children aged 7+.

Unfortunately dogs are not welcome at this event.

The audience will move around the garden to hear each of the stories, so the route will cover steep slopes and possibly steps.

Entry at the main visitor reception on Ralph Allen Drive.

Bring a picnic to enjoy before evening performances!
